DESCRIPTION
Expert 1 - Team Leader/ Expert in Waste Management - Cat I Qualifications and skills • Education at least Master's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Economics or equivalent. In the absence of the required academic degree, four (4) years of professional experience on top of the 12 years of professional experience in the Environmental sector under General professional experience below. General professional experience • Minimum 12 years as public official or advisor or consultant in the Environmental sector in the current EU territory. Specific professional experience • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in support to policies, strategic planning, capacity building and/or implementation of programmes in the area of waste management. • Asset : Minimum 1 year as a team leader and/or deputy team leader in at least one donor-funded project (the focus on waste management sector support is an asset) • International consultant experience on EU approximation in Enlargement or Eastern Partnership countries. Language skills • Excellent written and spoken English. Expert 2 - Deputy Team Leader / Expert in Waste Collection, Recycling and Reuse Systems - Cat I Qualifications and skills • Education at least Master's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Economics or equivalent. In the absence of the required academic degree, two (2) years of professional experience on top of the 12 years of professional experience in the Environmental sector under General professional experience below. General professional experience • Minimum 12 years as public official or advisor or consultant in the Environmental sector of which at least 6 years in the current EU territory. Specific professional experience • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the waste sector. • Asset: At least two years experience in EPR management. • International consultant experience on EU approximation in Enlargement or Eastern Partnership countries. Language skills • Excellent written and spoken English.
