Profile: Expert 1: Team Leader. Category 1. (Lot 10 Vietnam) Category of expert I Duration 28.00 working days Requirements Expert 1: Team Leader. Category 1. (Lot 10 Vietnam) - Qualifications and skills: At least a Masters Degree in Economics, Business, Trade or another relevant discipline. In its absence, 15 years professional experience working on trade policy in developing countries. - General professional experience: At least 12 years experience on Trade, Standards and/or Private sector support. - Specific professional experience: Strong references advising policy makers on trade policy in developing countries. Knowledge of sanitary and phytosanitary issues, trade facilitation and quality infrastructure. Good understanding of Free Trade Agreements and Market Access related issues. At least 2 references as Team Leader. Knowledge of EU procedures is an advantage. Experience of formulation of programmes is an advantage. Experience in South East Asia is an advantage. - Soft skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment - Language skills: Excellent level of English. Profile: Expert 2: Export Promotion Specialist. Category 2. (Lot 10 Vietnam) Category of expert II Duration 29.00 working days Requirements Expert 2: Export Promotion Specialist. Category 2. (Lot 10 Vietnam) - Qualifications and skills: At least a Masters Degree in Economics, Business, Trade or another relevant discipline. In its absence, 10 years professional experience working on private sector support and export promotion in developing countries. - General professional experience: At least 6 years experience on Trade, Standards and/or Private sector support; - Specific professional experience: Strong references on export promotion projects and support to producers. Knowledge of value chain management. Good understanding of the European market and market access issues for developing countries. Experience working with business organisations or producers organisations. Experience in South East Asia is an advantage. - Soft skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment. - Language skills: Excellent level of English. Profile: Expert 3: Value Chain Specialist. Category 2. (Lot 10 Vietnam) Category of expert II Duration 25.00 working days Requirements Expert 3: Value Chain Specialist. Category 2. (Lot 10 Vietnam) - Qualifications and skills: At least a Masters Degree in Economics, Business, Trade or another relevant discipline. In its absence, 10 years professional experience working on private sector support and export promotion in developing countries. - General professional experience: At least 6 years experience on Trade, Standards and/or Private sector support; - Specific professional experience: Experience working with business organisations or producers organisations in Vietnam. In-depth knowledge of at least three value chains in Vietnam. Strong references on export promotion in Vietnam. Previous experience on EU market access is an advantage. - Soft skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment - Language skills: Excellent level of English. Good knowledge of Vietnamese. EC rules applicable to any EC assignment • Working days are from Monday to Friday, if not indicated otherwise in the ToR • Per diem covers all expenses of the expert (local transport, hotel, meals, telecom, etc) and it is only paid if the expert stay overnight. • International travel: the EC only reimburse economy class flight tickets
