DESCRIPTION
Brief description: Overall objective · to support Kosovo institutions in prevention and fight of organised crime, including money laundering, corruption and violent extremism. Purpose · to strengthen inter-institutional, regional and international cooperation mechanisms in prevention and fight of financial crime, including money laundering, violent extremism, terrorism financing and corruption Results to be achieved · Kosovo institutions efficiently apply a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach during investigation and prosecution of organised crime and corruption cases · Sequestration and confiscation data collected and reported in coordinated and harmonised manner involving all relevant institutions · Kosovo institutions' capacities increased, including law enforcement, judiciary and banking sector to effectively report, investigate and prosecute financial crime cases, including money laundering and corruption; and · Kosovo institutions' and organisations' capacities and awareness increased to effectively prevent and counter violent extremism Team Leader & Expert on Fight against corruption and money laundering - 600 days Deadline – 26, September 2016 · University degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Law or Public Administration or Political Sciences or Economics or Accounting or 6 years of relevant professional experience; · A Master in the field of Law or Public Administration or Political Sciences or Economics or Accounting is considered as an advantage; · Minimum 8, preferably 12 years of relevant professional experience in the abovementioned fields (in addition to the years of experience which form a substitute for the diploma in case the expert would not have the diploma required under Qualifications and Skills). · At least 4 years of experience in leading position in donor funded projects or relevant state institution supporting fight against organised crime; · At least 5 years of specific experience in fight against economic crime and money-laundering (experience in anti-money laundering at least 2 years within the total) within government or law enforcement or judiciary structures. Expert on investigating and prosecuting organised crimes - 550 days Deadline – 26, September 2016 · University degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Law; · A Master degree in the field of Law is considered as an advantage; · Minimum 8, preferably 12 years, of relevant professional experience in the abovementioned fields (in addition to the years• of experience which form a substitute for the diploma in case the expert would not have the diploma required under Qualifications and Skills). · At least 5 years of professional experience in investigating and/or prosecuting organised crime cases, including economic crime cases. · Experienced in at least 2 projects providing capacity building for prosecutors and/or judges related to the fight against economic crimes.
