Requirements
Key expert 1: Economist, field of management of marine natural resources (team leader)
General professional experience: Formal education in Economy or Public Policy with a PhD or at least a Master's Degree or, in its absence, equivalent professional experience, At least 12 years of experience in the sector of Environment.
Specific professional experience: Experience in policy and governance mechanisms in the field of blue economy/blue growth, Proven track record in capacity development projects both nationally and internationally, Proven working experience leading a Team of Experts on policy formulation and development, Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment, Knowledge of the Bangladeshi context and working experience on policy development in Bangladesh is considered an asset. - Soft skills: Facilitation and communication skills.
- Language skills: Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory. Knowledge of local language is going to be considered an asset.

General professional experience: Formal education in aquaculture and/or fisheries with a PhD or at least a Masters Degree or, in its absence, equivalent professional experience, At least 12 years of experience in the sector of Environment, with special focus on Oceanography/Marine resources.
Specific professional experience: Teaching experience at the postgraduate level, A track record in research and scholarly publication in the field of oceanography/aquaculture/fisheries, Effective communication skills in an international and diverse international academic community. Proven track record in capacity development projects both nationally and internationally, Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment, Knowledge of the Bangladeshi context is considered an asset.

EC rules applicable to any EC assignment • Working days are from Monday to Friday, if not indicated otherwise in the ToR • Per diem covers all expenses of the expert (local transport, hotel, meals, telecom, etc) and it is only paid if the expert stay overnight. • International travel: the EC only reimburse economy class flight tickets | ||
