[ajug-jobs-australia] Contract Java Developers - based in Adelaide

 

SolveIt Software Pty is an Australian company specialising in enterprise software solutions for supply & demand optimisation.

 

Our customers are large mining and manufacturing corporations in Australia and overseas.

 

We urgently require two experienced Java developers due to continuing rapid growth. We are seeking positive, co-operative team players to create software applications that address challenging real-world business and industrial problems. You will be focussed and disciplined with a strong work ethic.

 

Duties will include:

·         Effectively and efficiently carrying out defined programming tasks in Java.

·         Devising solution approaches by analytical thinking.

·         GUI and database iteration programming.

·         In some cases, liaise with representatives of our clients to resolve gather technical details and resolve issues.

 

Mandatory requirements are:

·         Bachelor degree qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology.

·         At least three years' experience in Java Programming.

·         Knowledge of and programming experience with Java Swing.

·         Knowledge of and programming experience with using JDBC to perform database operations.

 

Prior to an interview, candidates will undertake a two hour technical evaluation of problem solving and Java programming skills. We want high performers.

 

We offer an excellent opportunity to hone your skills in a fast paced environment. This is a contract position with an immediate start based in the Adelaide CBD. An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated.
