DESCRIPTION
Profile: Expert 1 Category of expert Category I 100 Working Days Requirements • Category 1 – Senior Legal Draftsperson Education • Master's Degree in Law or Bachelor's Degree in Law with additional 3 years of relevant professional experience. Experience • At least 12 years of professional experience in legislative drafting. • Professional experience in political parties' reforms • Proven experience in legal consultations with governments, political parties and other stakeholders in developing countries. • Experience working in Pacific Island countries Language skills • Excellent in spoken and written English essential. Understanding of pidgin is an added advantage Management team member presence is not required for briefing and/or debriefing.. EC rules applicable to any EC assignment • The working days are Monday to Friday, unless otherwise specified in the mandate • The per diem covers all expenses of the expert (local transport, hotel, meals, Telecom, etc) and it is paid only if the expert must spend the night there. • International travel: the EC only reimburse economy class tickets
