DESCRIPTION
Profile: Senior expert (Lot 6 - DRC) Category of expert I Duration 190.00 working days Requirements Senior Expert (Lot 6 - DRC) An international expert will be mobilized to provide the necessary support to MECNDD. Furthermore, the mission will provide various supports to some members constituting the Congolese delegation are fully fonctionnels- see annex 1 below. - training - University or BAC + 5 - Political economy, international relations or exact sciences. - General experience - Excellent ability to work under pressure in a multicultural environment; - Good understanding of issues related to international law. - Support and advice to national, regional and international institutions. - Analytical skills to support the development of policy positions and preparing decryption notes to decision-makers-presidency of the Republic, Prime Minister, sectoral ministers ... etc .; - Specific experience - minimum 5 years - Proven experience of international climate negotiations; - Development of negotiating positions; - Bid Writing; - Development of strategies for negotiations to promote the interests and set priorities; - Languages - Very good knowledge of English, - Excellent knowledge of French; EC rules applicable to-any EC assignment • Working days are from Monday to Friday, if not indicated otherwise in the ToR • Per diem covers all expenses of the expert (local transportation, hotel, meals, telecom, etc.) and it is only paid if the expert stay overnight. • International travel: the EC only reimburse economy class flight tickets
