Profile: Expert I (Lot 10 – West Africa Region) Category of expert I Duration 85.00 working days Requirements Expert I (Lot 10 – West Africa Region) Qualifications and skills: Hold an advanced degree in development economies or equivalent, with a specialization in trade policy and/or economic integration. First university degree with significant years of experience (minimum 15 years) in relevant capacity in development may be considered in lieu of the advanced degree. Fluency in English and French both written and oral Excellent communications skills and ability to interact with high level business executives and government officials, international donors Professional experience Minimum of 12 years of experience in designing and delivery of development co-operation programmes in the area of economic integration, Customs, trade policy, trade facilitation and regional trade agreements Knowledge of EDF procedures and experience in producing EU Identification/formulation Action Fiches and knowledge of the project management cycle (PCM) Demonstrated experience in assessing institutional capacity of organizations in managing large-scale international programmes A minimum of 3 years of Experience/Knowledge of working of economic integration, Customs and trade issues in West Africa A professional experience with ECOWAS/WAEMU will be an advantage Profile: Expert II (Lot 10 – West Africa Region) Category of expert I Duration 85.00 working days Requirements Expert II (Lot 10 – West Africa Region) Qualifications and skills: Hold an advanced degree in development economies or equivalent, with a specialization in trade policy and/or economic integration.
