| Global objective: Contribuir a la reflexión actual del Gobierno de Guatemala sobre cómo enfrentar el cambio climático y sobre como este nuevo desafío se puede traducir en términos de acción en el ámbito de la producción alimentaria, gestión del agua y protección del patrimonio genético agrícola nacional. Natural Resources Management Expert (TL, Category I) Job description The expert will have an input of 35 working days and will be able to start from March 2010. Required qualifications: - Grado universitario en Ciencias Ambientales y Maestría en alguna temática relacionada con el desarrollo, idealmente en tema de seguridad alimentaria/ - Mínimo de 10 años de experiencia profesional en los temas de gestión de recursos naturales / protección de ambiente en el marco de programa de desarrollo rural. - Conocimiento sobre seguridad alimentaria en territorios áridos y/ o experiencia de al menos 5 anos en modelos operativos de producción agrícola para enfrentar el cambio climático (experiencias en América Latina). - Excelente dominio del español. Optimo dominio de la lengua inglesa y/o de la lengua francesa. Food Security Expert (Category I) The expert will have an input of 35 working days and will be able to start from March 2010.
