DESCRIPTION
Profile: Expert 1 Categoy of expert Senior (at least 10 years of experience) Duration 45 working days Requirements The Expert should hold at least a Post-Graduate Degree (or equivalent) from a recognised University in agriculture, economics, business or a related field of study. The Expert (Senior) should have at least 10 years of professional working experience in the agricultural sector, including at least 5 years work experience in the Banana industry in Ghana, Africa or an ACP country. Strong technical background in the development of similar strategies in the horticulture sector. Previous work experience in the private sector, including extensive working knowledge of Banana industry would be an asset. The Expert must be fluent in English (read, spoken and written) and have strong communication and facilitation skills. Experience with EDF and/or with banana previous support programmes (SFA) may be considered as an asset.
