| PROFILES REQUIRED: SENIOR EXPERT - Master degree or equivalent working experience in Politics/Internatio - Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written (Russian/Arabic will be a valuable asset) - Excellent knowledge of EC procedures related to Civil Society's involvement in EC external cooperation and of EIDHR (knowledge of past EC consultation processes such as the Palermo process is an asset) - Good knowledge of topics related to: I) human rights and democratization programmes by EC, EP, EU Member states and other donors; II) EIDHR regulation (EC) 1889/2006 and Financial Regulation and Implementing Rules applicable to the general budget of the European Union (EC) 1605/2002 and (EC) 2342/2002; III) current developments in the democratization discourses; IV) roles and added-value of various categories of CSOs in democratic reform and development cooperation; V) division of labour and complementarily between stakeholders (state & non state actors) and programmes (geographic and thematic); VI) aid effectiveness agenda and enabling environment for civil society at country level; VII) EC delivery mechanisms (concerning CSOs) - Excellent communication and negotiation skills: sound experience in managing a complex multi-stakeholders' process oriented towards consensus-building - Excellent analytic skills: experience in coordinating the production of writing material - Computer literacy: ability to set up a page in an online blog and moderate it.
