| DESCRIPTION | |
| EXPERTS PROFILE Profile required (education, experience, references and category as appropriate) The team will consist of two experts Category II (Border Management Expert and System Designer). The team leader shall be identified by the Consultant among the proposed experts. Team Leader will supervise and co-ordinate the overall thrust of the work. The experts as a team should have the following educational background and professional experience: • Experience on processes in the area of development and implementation of legal and institutional aspects that the biometric systems in EU are dealing with (including potential connections /compatibility with relevant informatics systems) • Knowledge/experienc • Experience in working directly on biometrics (including fingerprint, palm, tenprint, iris, face) in an EU Member State and/or an international organization • Knowledge of AFIS, • Experience in preparing needs analyses / feasibility studies and drafting and modeling systems, such as identity verification systems, • Experience in the preparation of technical specifications and Market survey • Knowledge/experienc • Experience in implementing IBM (Integrated Border Management) strategies in EU or candidate countries will be an asset. • Each member of the team shall have good command of written and spoken English and full computer literacy, Number of requested experts per category and number of man-days per expert: Expert Expert 1 (Border Management Expert)(Category II ) Expert 2 (System Designer) (Category II) | |
