[Egy_Career_Opportunities] Senior QA full time urgently required



Company Overview

We are a leading multinational IT-company currently having big customers worldwide and we are a global leader in providing solutions for web, desktop and mobile applications. The company has partnerships with other leading companies in the world.


We are now seeking an experienced Senior QA to join a fast paced Development Team. He will be working with teams of talented developers, experienced designers, and usability experts in the creation of web-based business solutions. They will have an excellent understanding of web-based technologies, .Net development environment and experience with latest Microsoft development products. This position will be based in our Cairo/ Heliopolis office


Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and functional specifications documents.

• Create, Review and execute test cases.

• Prepare test data, scripts, checklists and other test documents based on the project need.

• Ability to clearly write bug reports that accurately isolates the problem and that are easy to understand by the developers.

• Communicate with development team

• Estimate the time needed for the quality tasks in the projects

• Write comprehensive test plan describing the test approach, defining tasks and test schedule, and making sure it is compliant with the overall project plan

• Follow up on the test plan and the opened bugs.

• Escalate risks and concerns to management before they happen.

• Analyze test results and write detailed test reports that accurately describe the project status.

• Participate in reviewing and improving the company processes

 

Required experience and skills:

• 1-2 years of practical experience in software testing and quality control.

• Excellent understanding and application of the different testing types.

• Proven practical experience in performance and/or functional test automation using open source and commercial tools.

• Practical experience in using bug tracking systems.

• Good practical experience in using database management system.

• Good technical writing skills.

• Good Knowledge of .NET technologies

• Excellent English and communication skills.

• CMMI knowledge is a plus.

• Professional Certificates in related fields are plus

•Has knowledge in web testing.

• Has knowledge in business application testing.
