Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Infrastructure Department)

General Duties:

· Responsible for managing the consultancy engagement in the MS Infrastructure Services, This includes defining project scope, creating scopes of work, partnering with Resource Managers to staff project teams to drive accelerated business change through the innovative use of Microsoft Technologies.

· Monitors the status of engagements and communicating with the project teams and customers.

· Accountable for customer satisfaction, project profitability and internal client satisfaction in his/her projects

· Participate in mentoring, training of consulting resources.

· Estimate timelines and resources, create detailed project plan; Monitor and adjust estimates to integrate new constraints

Detailed DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

1. Leadership of the project team

· Establish a spirit of collaboration and teamwork.

· Using inputs from the team express and communicate a vision for the team.

· Assist the other members of the team in resolving problems.

· Keep the team focused on both weekly progress and the final objectives.

· Keep the team motivated.

· Help the individual members to make a contribution consistent with their skill level and work style.

2. Management of the project and team contributions

· Prepare the project plan in collaboration with the team members.

· Establish the project schedule.

· Develop the project Cost Structure, Risk management plans, project budget.

· Identify both formal and informal team roles for each member of the team.

· Schedule team meetings.

· Make certain the team meets the schedule for deliverables and task milestones.

· Make certain that the team conducts the peer reviews on schedule.

3. Communications

• Routine, e.g. weekly, meetings with the faculty advisor.

• Establish regular communications with the client.

• Organize visits to the client site, as needed.

• Ensure that team communications get to each team member.

Job Requirements:

· Excellent project management Skills, PMP certification is required.

· MSF certification is a great plus.

· IT Infrastructure Services knowledge.

· Have excellent customer communication and team leadership skills with the ability to drive the engagement lifecycle from inception to completion

· Industrial Project Management Enterprise Services Frameworks knowledge is required

· Degree or equivalent work experience is required

· 4-6 years working experience in project management.
